TeBe Sport Transforms Playgrounds with ONE-DNA™

TeBe Sport, an innovator in sports facilities, renovated in three multi-purpose playgrounds with ONE-DNA™ artificial grass in Kåfjord, Norway. Completed in July 2023, this project was carried out under the mesmerizing midnight sun, against a backdrop of fantastic scenery, marking a significant stride towards sustainable sports infrastructure in the region.

Embracing Sustainability

At the heart of this project was a commitment to sustainability. The old turf was diligently removed and processed through TeBe Sport’s recycling arm, All Sports Recycled. This division is instrumental in handling the intake and recycling of end-of-life artificial grass from clubs and municipalities across Norway, emphasizing a circular approach to resource management.

Durable, safe playgrounds

Each playground renovation was completed within just two days, showcased TeBe Sport’s exceptional efficiency and expertise. The installation featured ONE-DNA™ artificial grass atop a 12mm shockpad, ensuring enhanced safety and longevity. The project was completed with recycled infill sand, sourced from the recycling of old turf, reinforcing the sustainable ethos of the initiative.

The Kåfjord community and local authorities expressed immense satisfaction with the transformation. The upgraded playgrounds offer durable, safe, and environmentally-friendly spaces for both children and adults.
