A worn-out and high-maintenance play area at a popular campsite in Cornwall, UK, has been completely transformed. Thanks to Venture Play and the installation of ONE-DNA™ artificial grass, the campsite now offers a safe, clean, and sustainable play environment—free from mud, dust, and excessive maintenance.
From Worn-Out Ground to a Carefree Play Space
Campsites are all about relaxation, fun, and enjoying the great outdoors. However, the old play area was no longer a reliable and inviting space for play and recreation. Wet weather caused muddy puddles, while dry days created dusty conditions, making maintenance challenging and reducing the overall play experience. The campsite needed a durable, low-maintenance solution that would remain accessible, clean, and safe throughout the year.

Venture Play future-proofed the play area with a complete renovation. Old play equipment was removed and replaced, and a new, solid base was installed to enhance the durability of the space. Shock-absorbing underlayers were placed beneath the play equipment to improve safety and comfort.
The play area was further enhanced with sustainable Robinia play equipment, chosen for its natural aesthetics and long lifespan. The ground was then covered with ONE-DNA™ artificial grass, providing a safe, eco-friendly, and mud-free surface that stays green and inviting all year round.
