Description

A natural look for play and landscape applications

Some projects need more than a short, functional activity surface. They need artificial grass that looks and feels closer to a fuller lawn, within a professional system. ONE-DNA™ Vista 27 is built for that role, at a 27 mm pile with a monofilament and curled-yarn construction and a stabilising silica sand infill.

It is used most often in playgrounds and play areas, where children are in direct contact with the surface, and also in landscape, gardens, events and roof projects. Where play equipment introduces a free height of fall, the turf is one layer of a complete tested build-up.

Playgrounds and play areas first, where the surface is in direct contact with the people using it. Also used for landscape, gardens, events and roof projects. Under play equipment, it forms the turf layer of an impact-attenuating build-up.
Available as ONE-DNA™ 100% PE or ONE-DNA™ 100% PO, each with its own technical data. Tell us about your project and we'll advise which suits it.
27 mm. The full construction data is stated in the technical datasheet.
Built with FuseTech™, which bonds the fibres into the backing with heat instead of a latex or polyurethane secondary coating.
Tufted, with a monofilament yarn and a shorter curled thatch. That combination gives the surface its fuller, grass-led character. Face weight, yarn values, stitch density and roll dimensions are stated in the technical datasheet.
ONE-DNA™ Vista 27 is a sand-stabilised surface. The installation specification is dried silica sand at a minimum of 10 kg per square metre, with grading and grain shape set out in the installation guidelines. The sand ballasts the surface, keeps it stable and supports the turf. Because the pile is taller and the quantity lower than on a short, heavily filled activity turf, the sand sits lower in the profile. Sand on its own does not create fall protection.
Under play equipment, ONE-DNA™ Vista 27 is the turf layer of a complete build-up with infill and a shockpad. The critical fall height belongs to that tested build-up, not to the turf alone. EN 1177 results for the current 100% PO construction are not yet available. Ask us about the options for the free height of fall in your project.
650 l/min/m², the same for every ONE-DNA™ product.
Reaction to fire depends on the installed build-up, because infill changes the result. For the 100% PE construction, Ghent University test reports cover loose-laid and sand-filled configurations. The 100% PO construction has not yet been tested. Ask us for the documentation for your configuration.
Warranty and maintenance conditions are set out in our warranty terms.

Designed for recycling

It starts with the materials

Fibre and backing are joined without a latex or polyurethane coating, within one material route. Whether the product is recycled depends on collection and local processing.

Where this product belongs.

Play and landscape

Play areas, school grounds, gardens, landscape and roof projects where the surface is walked on and looked at every day, and where it should read as grass rather than as equipment.

Most often in playgrounds and play areas, where the project wants a natural grass character rather than an obviously functional turf. They answer different project needs rather than sitting above or below each other. Play 24 is the activity-led route: a 24 mm pile, a heavier sand specification and seven documented colours, for MUGAs, multifunctional play and sport spaces and school grounds where the surface carries zones and takes constant use. Vista 27 is the grass-led route: a taller 27 mm pile with a curled thatch, a lighter sand specification and green only, for projects where the surface should read as grass. Choose on what the project needs the surface to be, not on which product is longer.
The sand stabilises the surface. It ballasts the carpet, keeps it flat and supports the turf in use. The installation specification is dried silica sand at a minimum of 10 kg per square metre, with grading and grain shape set out in the installation guidelines. Because sand affects reaction to fire, the infill quantity is specified together with the fire requirement. Sand on its own does not create fall protection.

Per installed build-up, because infill changes the result. Tests follow EN ISO 9239-1 and EN ISO 11925-2. For the 100% PE construction of ONE-DNA™ Vista 27, Ghent University test reports cover loose-laid and sand-filled configurations. The 100% PO construction has not yet been tested.
