Applications · Events
Temporary artificial grass, specified for the venue.
Short installation windows, concentrated footfall and the venue’s fire requirements.
Choose a surface and a configuration that meet all three.

What matters
What an event surface has to handle.
Events compress a surface’s whole life into a few days.
Fire requirements
The venue sets the reaction-to-fire class. Results are tested per product and configuration.
Install and lift
Time on site is short. Rolls, joins and fixing have to go down quickly and come up cleanly.
Footfall
Crowds gather at entrances, bars and stages. The surface has to cope, and keep its look.
Products
Four surfaces used at events.
Vista 27, Orion 35 and Elan 35 are available in 100% PE or 100% PO. Pure Play 28 is supplied in 100% PO. Fire test results differ per product and build-up. Ask us what is available for your venue.

Before you specify
Ask the questions the venue will ask.
Venues and local authorities ask for documents, not descriptions.
A fire classification applies only to the product and configuration tested.
Which fire class does an event surface need?
The venue or local authority sets the requirement. Classes under EN 13501-1 apply only to the product and configuration tested. Ask which reaction-to-fire test or classification report exists for what you will install.
Can event grass be reused?
It can be, if it is lifted, cleaned and stored with care. Whether it is fit for reuse depends on how it was used and its condition.
What happens to the surface after the event?
It can be stored for reuse. It is designed for recycling: fibre and backing are joined without a conventional latex or polyurethane coating, and each product follows one material route. Whether a surface is actually recycled depends on removal, collection and the recycling options available at the time. More on end of life →
How quickly can it be installed?
That depends on the area, access and configuration. Plan installation and removal with the supplier when you book the venue.
