ONE-DNA™ Football Pitch in Tilburg by KSP

KSP Kunstgras recently installed an ONE-DNA™ football pitch in the Tivoli district of Tilburg, the Netherlands, on behalf of the municipality. This project, carried out on behalf of the municipality of Tilburg, not only illustrates the municipality’s commitment to sustainability, but also establishes KSP as a pioneer in the use of sustainable materials and technologies.

ONE-DNA™ Artificial Grass: A Sustainable Choice

Central to this project is the use of ONE-DNA™ Monomaterial Artificial Grass. This artificial grass is unique because it is entirely made from a single type of polymer, polyethylene (PE), making it fully recyclable. This material is not only sustainable but also safe for children to play on, as it meets strict safety standards and is free from heavy metals and hazardous substances.

Low EPD Score: Proof of Sustainability

A key aspect of this project is the low EPD score (Environmental Product Declaration) of ONE-DNA™ Artificial Grass. This score confirms the low environmental impact of the product, from production to end of life, aligning with Tilburg’s ambition to be a greener municipality.

The soccer field in Tilburg is a beautiful example of how innovative, sustainable materials like ONE-DNA™ Artificial Grass can be used to transform urban spaces. The project highlights the possibilities of recycling and reusing materials while simultaneously providing a safe and attractive play environment for children. This initiative marks a step forward in the municipality’s pursuit of a more sustainable future.
