Everyday ball sport, without performance infill
Many sports surfaces rely on sand or a performance infill such as rubber crumb, which has to be topped up, brushed back and kept on the pitch. Schools, leisure operators and facilities managers often want everyday ball sport without that layer. ONE-DNA™ Pure Play 28 is designed to be used without performance infill.
Whether a particular installation needs any stabilising sand depends on the application and is set in the installation guidelines. As with every sports surface, how the pitch plays belongs to the complete build-up, so ONE-DNA™ Pure Play 28 is specified as a system and confirmed on the installed surface.

How the pitch plays comes from the whole build-up of turf, any shockpad and base. Ball roll, ball rebound and the response underfoot are measured on the installed pitch.
