A local recreational area in Nottinghamshire has been transformed by the Venture Play team into a modern and welcoming space for children and families. The redevelopment replaces an ageing playground with a contemporary play environment designed to support active play, exploration and social interaction.
A fresh start for the community
The new playground features a multi-level adventure structure, a swing set designed for a range of age groups and interactive play elements including hopscotch and a giant Snakes and Ladders game with oversized dice.
At the centre of the installation is ONE-DNA™ Vista artificial grass, installed over a shock-absorbing pad to help meet the required safety standards. The playground is enclosed with bow-top fencing and safety gates, creating a secure and attractive environment for everyday use.
Multi-use sports and recreation
Alongside the playground, a new Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) has been installed. Equipped with recessed goals and a basketball hoop, the facility provides additional opportunities for sport, physical activity and community engagement.
Designed for regular use, the MUGA offers a flexible space suitable for a variety of recreational activities.
