Everyday ball sport, without performance infill

Many sports surfaces rely on sand or a performance infill such as crumb rubber, which has to be topped up, brushed back and kept on the field. Schools, recreation operators and facility managers often want everyday ball games without that layer. ONE-DNA™ Pure Play 28 is designed to be used without performance infill.

Whether a particular installation needs any stabilizing sand depends on the application and is set in the installation guidelines. As with every sports surface, how the field plays belongs to the complete build-up, so ONE-DNA™ Pure Play 28 is specified as a system and confirmed on the installed surface.

How the field plays comes from the whole build-up of turf, any shock pad and base. Ball roll, ball rebound and the response underfoot are measured on the installed field. Tell us the level of play and we'll advise on the build-up.
Sports surfaces are tested as installed systems, and a certificate belongs to the field or product that was tested. Tell us the standard your project has to meet and we'll set out the evidence available.
650 l/min/m² (about 1,535 in/hr), the same for every ONE-DNA™ product.
Reaction to fire for ONE-DNA™ Pure Play 28 depends on the installed build-up. The current 100% PO construction has not yet been tested. For indoor projects, ask us before you specify.

Fiber and backing are joined without a latex or polyurethane coating, within one material route. Whether the product is recycled depends on collection and local processing.
