ONE-DNA™ in gardens and public spaces in Colorado

Across the greater Denver area, more outdoor spaces were being developed using ONE-DNA™ artificial grass. Through the work of Next 2 Natural Turf, homeowners, schools and municipalities had access to a modern artificial grass system designed around transparent material composition and documented product performance.

A different approach to artificial grass

At the time, ONE-DNA™ artificial grass was made in 100% PE (one polymer). Unlike many conventional artificial grass systems that combine multiple material types, ONE-DNA™ followed a simplified material approach supported by transparent product information and documented material composition.

This design philosophy reflects a growing interest in understanding not only how products perform, but also what they are made of.

Material transparency

Material transparency is becoming increasingly important for project owners, designers and public authorities. ONE-DNA™ provided clear information about material composition, helping customers make informed decisions during specification and procurement.

The one-polymer design formed the basis of the ONE-DNA™ approach at the time and supported consistent material documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

Tested and documented

The ONE-DNA™ products supplied in Colorado were supported by independent testing and product-specific documentation.

Independent testing was also carried out to evaluate material characteristics in accordance with recognized standards.

For play applications, the products were supported by testing relevant to their intended use.

Suitable for a wide range of applications

From residential gardens and schoolyards to public spaces and recreational areas, ONE-DNA™ was used to provide an attractive and practical surface solution.

By combining transparent material composition, documented performance and independent testing, ONE-DNA™ offered a modern approach to artificial grass design for a wide variety of outdoor environments.

Projects across Colorado showed how these principles can be applied in everyday environments.

Update, October 2026: this article was first published in February 2025 and is kept as a historical record. This partnership is no longer active. ONE-DNA™ currently has no distribution partner in the United States. The range at the time was based on polyethylene (PE); see Technology for the current material routes.
