Partner Nordic Surface completed a new play environment using ONE-DNA™ Play 24 artificial grass in Kristinehamn, Sweden. Located in the Värmland region, the project provides a safe and welcoming space where children can play, explore and be active throughout the year.
The installation demonstrates how carefully selected materials and thoughtful design can contribute to attractive and practical public play environments.
Material transparency and documentation
The ONE-DNA™ Play 24 installed here was made in 100% PE (one polymer) and supported by product documentation and independent testing. The project in Kristinehamn reflected growing interest in material transparency and documented product information within public-space projects.
As municipalities increasingly evaluate products based on both performance and documentation, clear material information is becoming an important part of the decision-making process.
BVB recognition
Added in March 2025: ONE-DNA™ was assessed by Byggvarubedömningen (BVB) and classified as ‘Recommended’.
The classification reflected an independent assessment of product information, material composition and supporting documentation, providing an additional source of information for project owners, specifiers and contractors.
Looking ahead
The project in Kristinehamn highlighted the growing interest in innovative approaches to artificial grass design within public play environments.
