We are pleased to announce the appointment of Cas Kaptein as Sustainability Manager at ONE-DNA™. This marks another important step in strengthening our commitment to design for recycling, transparency, and continuous improvement across the artificial turf value chain.
With a strong passion for sustainability, certification frameworks, and process optimization, Cas brings valuable expertise to support our long-term environmental ambitions. His focus on continuous learning and improvement aligns closely with our mission to develop artificial turf designed for recycling, with material value retention considered from the start.
Building the roadmap
In his new role, Cas will be responsible for further developing and implementing our sustainability roadmap. Key priorities include evaluating relevant certification schemes and advancing initiatives that improve transparency, traceability, and environmental performance throughout the organization.
Areas of focus include:
- Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
- Environmental Product Declarations (EPD)
- Evaluating relevant certification schemes
- Sustainability reporting and governance
- Continuous process improvement initiatives
Cas will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure environmental considerations remain embedded throughout product development, operations, and business strategy.
Turning ambition into measurable progress
“At [ONE-DNA™], sustainability is not a separate initiative; it is part of how we design products, make decisions, and create long-term value,” says Cas Kaptein.
His appointment reflects our belief that meaningful progress requires measurable actions, transparent reporting, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Looking ahead
As the artificial turf industry looks more closely at material efficiency and recovery after use, we remain focused on developing products designed for recycling, and on measuring their environmental impact.
The appointment of Cas Kaptein further strengthens our ability to translate environmental ambitions into practical actions and measurable results.
We warmly welcome Cas to the team and look forward to achieving the next milestones together.
