In Tingalpa, a suburb of Brisbane, Ecovia Turf has completed a new 200 m² playground installation in collaboration with Willplay. The project combines ONE-DNA™ EcoAbode 30 artificial grass with Schmitz ProPlay 35 mm shockpads to create a safe and inviting play environment for children and families.
Designed for play
The project was developed with a strong focus on safety, usability and long-term performance. The combination of artificial grass and shockpad technology provides a comfortable and reliable surface suitable for everyday play activities.
ONE-DNA™ EcoAbode 30 was selected for its 100% PE (one polymer) design and transparent material composition, providing a different approach to artificial grass design.
Safety and performance
The installation incorporates Schmitz ProPlay shockpads beneath the artificial grass surface to provide impact attenuation around play equipment. ONE-DNA™ products are supported by product-specific documentation and testing, including testing relevant to play applications.
Together, these elements create a play environment designed to support safe and enjoyable use.
