The artificial turf market is evolving. Not because surfaces need to look different, but because a more fundamental question is increasingly being asked: what is it made of, and what happens to it after use?
Starting from that exact question, Namgrass and Namsports have entered into a collaboration with ONE-DNA™ to introduce 100% PE (one polymer) artificial turf systems to the Belgian market.
Over recent years, Namgrass has built a strong reputation in high-quality synthetic turf solutions for gardens, playgrounds and multifunctional environments. Namsports operates daily in the world of sport and recreation, where performance, safety and intensive use are essential. Two disciplines increasingly facing the same challenge: many conventional artificial turf systems perform well technically, but involve complex material compositions.
With ONE-DNA™, Namgrass and Namsports add a new approach to their portfolio. Not a conventional multi-layer system, but an artificial turf solution built around a 100% PE (one polymer) design, supported by transparent material composition and documented performance.
This collaboration reflects a shared interest in material design, product transparency and long-term material value. By introducing ONE-DNA™ in Belgium, Namgrass and Namsports provide customers with an alternative approach that considers both performance and material composition from the outset.
Growing network
The ONE-DNA™ partner network continues to expand across Europe. With Namgrass and Namsports joining the network, the concept gains further representation in Belgium. The direction is clear: material composition is becoming part of the decision-making process alongside performance, safety and appearance.
Update, October 2026: this article reflects the ONE-DNA™ range at the time of publication, based on polyethylene (PE). ONE-DNA™ now also includes a 100% PO route; see Technology for the current material routes.
