Venture Play has recently completed a major playground refurbishment at a well-known campsite in the West Midlands, UK.
The project focused on upgrading the existing play area while improving appearance, usability and long-term performance for visitors.
A rapid transformation
The refurbishment was completed in just two days.
As part of the project, the existing block surfacing was replaced with timber features to create a more natural appearance throughout the playground. Existing wet-pour safety surfacing was repaired and retained where appropriate, helping to maximise the use of existing infrastructure.
The play area was then finished with ONE-DNA™ artificial grass, creating a clean and attractive surface throughout the space.
Encouraging active play
To enhance the play experience, a colourful hopscotch feature was incorporated into the design.
This simple addition encourages movement, interaction and active play while complementing the overall playground layout.
Balancing refurbishment and renewal
Rather than completely replacing the existing playground, the project focused on upgrading and improving key elements of the site.
By combining repairs, refurbishment and new materials, Venture Play created an updated play environment while retaining suitable parts of the existing installation.
A welcoming play environment
The completed playground provides campsite visitors with a refreshed outdoor space designed for everyday use.
The combination of repaired safety surfacing, new landscaping elements, interactive play features and ONE-DNA™ artificial grass has created an attractive and practical environment where children can play, explore and stay active throughout their visit.
