O projeto analisou a forma como a relva artificial podia ser recolhida e processada ap\u00f3s um evento.<\/p>\n<p>Recorrendo ao programa de recolha ent\u00e3o existente, todas as partes trabalharam em conjunto para definir uma via documentada de recupera\u00e7\u00e3o dos materiais ap\u00f3s a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<h4>O desafio<\/h4>\n<p>Os eventos tempor\u00e1rios usam muitas vezes relva artificial em zonas de hospitalidade, passadeiras e espa\u00e7os para visitantes. Tradicionalmente, muitos produtos de relva artificial cont\u00eam uma combina\u00e7\u00e3o de materiais como polietileno (PE), polipropileno (PP), l\u00e1tex ou componentes \u00e0 base de poliuretano.<\/p>\n<p>No fim de vida, estas constru\u00e7\u00f5es de materiais mistos podem criar dificuldades de processamento, porque diferentes materiais podem ter de ser separados antes da reciclagem. Consoante a composi\u00e7\u00e3o do produto e as vias de reciclagem dispon\u00edveis, isso pode limitar as poss\u00edveis aplica\u00e7\u00f5es do material recuperado.<\/p>\n<h4>O projeto<\/h4>\n<p>Em julho de 2023, cerca de 7000 m\u00b2 de relva artificial ONE-DNA\u2122, feita em 100% PE (um \u00fanico pol\u00edmero), foram instalados nas Comfort Zones do Tomorrowland. A instala\u00e7\u00e3o foi feita pela equipa do Tomorrowland no \u00e2mbito dos preparativos do festival.<\/p>\n<p>O projeto foi pensado para avaliar o que aconteceria ao material depois do evento.<\/p>\n<h4>Recolhida e reciclada<\/h4>\n<p>Ap\u00f3s o festival, a relva artificial ONE-DNA\u2122 foi recolhida e reciclada. A GBN AGR transformou o material em aglomerado de polietileno, que foi fornecido \u00e0 TenCate e novamente utilizado em aplica\u00e7\u00f5es de elevada qualidade.<\/p>\n<p>Paralelamente, a TenCate Grass realizou ensaios em que foi produzido novo fio a partir de relva artificial recolhida. Estes ensaios de fio s\u00e3o uma etapa distinta da reciclagem e da reutiliza\u00e7\u00e3o descritas acima.<\/p>\n<h4>Porque \u00e9 importante<\/h4>\n<p>O projeto do Tomorrowland mostra o que se torna poss\u00edvel quando organizadores de eventos, instaladores, recicladores e fabricantes trabalham em conjunto, e quando a relva artificial \u00e9 feita de um \u00fanico pol\u00edmero desde o in\u00edcio: um fluxo de material limpo que um reciclador consegue processar e um fabricante consegue voltar a utilizar.<\/p>\n<p><em>Atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o, outubro de 2026: este artigo descreve a situa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 data da publica\u00e7\u00e3o (novembro de 2023) e reflete a gama ONE-DNA\u2122 dessa altura, baseada em polietileno (PE); consulte <a href=\"https:\/\/one-dna.com\/pt-pt\/technology\/\">Tecnologia<\/a> para as vias de material atuais.
