Na de inzet van ONE-DNA\u2122-kunstgras op Tomorrowland 2023 werd de samenwerking voortgezet voor de editie van 2024. In juni 2024 waren de voorbereidingen al in volle gang, en opnieuw was ONE-DNA\u2122 gekozen voor verschillende zones op het festivalterrein.<\/p>\n

Het project liet zien hoe materiaalkeuze, projectplanning en samenwerking samenkomen bij een van de bekendste evenementen van Europa.<\/p>\n

Tijdelijke installaties, denken op lange termijn<\/h4>\n

Kunstgras wordt op grote evenementen veel gebruikt om aantrekkelijke en functionele bezoekersruimtes te maken. Tijdelijke installaties maakten in het verleden vaak gebruik van producten die door hun complexe materiaalsamenstelling na gebruik moeilijk te verwerken waren.<\/p>\n

Voor Tomorrowland werd voor een andere aanpak gekozen.<\/p>\n

Het ONE-DNA\u2122-kunstgras van dat moment was uitgevoerd in 100% PE (\u00e9\u00e9n polymeer). Dat gaf meer transparantie over de materiaalsamenstelling en ondersteunde gedocumenteerd materiaalbeheer na het evenement.<\/p>\n

Wat er na gebruik met het materiaal gebeurde<\/h4>\n

Na Tomorrowland 2023 werd het aangelegde kunstgras ingezameld voor materiaalverwerking, via partners voor materiaalbehandeling en verwerking.<\/p>\n

Het project leverde waardevolle praktijkervaring op met het behandelen, inzamelen en verwerken van kunstgrassystemen in 100% PE (\u00e9\u00e9n polymeer) na intensief gebruik op een evenement.<\/p>\n

Door deze processen te documenteren, droegen de betrokken organisaties bij aan de kennis in de sector over materiaalbeheer bij tijdelijke evenementinstallaties.<\/p>\n

Samenwerking in de hele keten<\/h4>\n

Projecten van deze omvang vragen om nauwe samenwerking tussen meerdere partners. Van planning en aanleg tot inzameling en verwerking draagt elke organisatie specialistische kennis bij die zorgt voor een geslaagde uitvoering.<\/p>\n

De samenwerking tussen Tomorrowland, installatiepartners, verwerkingspartners en het ONE-DNA\u2122-netwerk liet de waarde zien van geco\u00f6rdineerd handelen gedurende de hele looptijd van het project.<\/p>\n

Vooruitblik op Tomorrowland 2024<\/h4>\n

Bij de voorbereiding van de volgende editie lag de focus op een hoogwaardige bezoekerservaring en op het verder verkennen van nieuwe benaderingen van materiaaltransparantie en projectdocumentatie.<\/p>\n

Tomorrowland 2024 was een nieuwe kans om te laten zien hoe innovatie, samenwerking en praktijkervaring kunnen bijdragen aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de kunstgrassector.<\/p>\n
