I samarbejde med Tomorrowland, GBN AGR og TenCate blev der i 2023 gennemf\u00f8rt et praktisk projekt for materialegenvinding med ONE-DNA\u2122 kunstgr\u00e6s. Projektet unders\u00f8gte, hvordan kunstgr\u00e6s kunne indsamles og forarbejdes efter et arrangement.<\/p>\n

Via den tilbagetagningsordning, der fandtes dengang, arbejdede alle parter sammen om at etablere en dokumenteret rute for materialegenvinding efter brug.<\/p>\n

Udfordringen<\/h4>\n

Midlertidige arrangementer bruger ofte kunstgr\u00e6s til hospitalityomr\u00e5der, gangarealer og opholdsomr\u00e5der for bes\u00f8gende. Traditionelt indeholder mange kunstgr\u00e6sprodukter en kombination af materialer som polyethylen (PE), polypropylen (PP), latex eller komponenter baseret p\u00e5 polyurethan.<\/p>\n

Efter endt levetid kan konstruktionerne af blandede materialer give udfordringer i forarbejdningen, fordi de forskellige materialer kan skulle adskilles f\u00f8r genanvendelse. Afh\u00e6ngigt af produktets sammens\u00e6tning og de tilg\u00e6ngelige genanvendelsesruter kan det begr\u00e6nse de mulige anvendelser af det genvundne materiale.<\/p>\n

Projektet<\/h4>\n

I juli 2023 blev omkring 7.000 m\u00b2 ONE-DNA\u2122 kunstgr\u00e6s, fremstillet i 100% PE (\u00e9n polymer), lagt i Tomorrowlands Comfort Zones. Installationen blev udf\u00f8rt af Tomorrowlands eget team som en del af forberedelserne til festivalen.<\/p>\n

Projektet skulle vise, hvad der ville ske med materialet, n\u00e5r arrangementet var slut.<\/p>\n

Indsamlet og genanvendt<\/h4>\n

Efter festivalen blev ONE-DNA\u2122 kunstgr\u00e6sset indsamlet og genanvendt. GBN AGR forarbejdede materialet til polyethylenagglomerat, som blev leveret til TenCate og brugt igen i anvendelser af h\u00f8j kvalitet.<\/p>\n

Derudover gennemf\u00f8rte TenCate Grass fors\u00f8g, hvor der blev produceret nyt garn af indsamlet kunstgr\u00e6s. Garnfors\u00f8gene er et separat trin, adskilt fra den genanvendelse og det genbrug, der er beskrevet ovenfor.<\/p>\n

Derfor er det vigtigt<\/h4>\n

Projektet p\u00e5 Tomorrowland viser, hvad der bliver muligt, n\u00e5r arrang\u00f8rer, mont\u00f8rer, genanvendelsesvirksomheder og producenter arbejder sammen, og n\u00e5r kunstgr\u00e6sset fra starten er fremstillet af \u00e9n polymer: en ren materialestr\u00f8m, som en genanvender kan forarbejde, og som en producent kan bruge igen.<\/p>\n

Opdatering, oktober 2026: artiklen beskriver situationen p\u00e5 udgivelsestidspunktet (november 2023) og afspejler det dav\u00e6rende ONE-DNA\u2122-sortiment, baseret p\u00e5 polyethylen (PE); se Teknologi<\/a> for de nuv\u00e6rende materialel\u00f8sninger.
