ONE-DNA\u2122 was developed around a 100% PE (one polymer) design, providing a consistent material stream that can be assessed using existing polyethylene processing technologies.<\/p>\n<p>This simplified material structure creates opportunities to explore compatibility with equipment already used throughout the plastics industry.<\/p>\n<h4>Collaboration in practice<\/h4>\n<p>The project brought together Ecovia Turf and Recycling Solutions Australia, a specialist in plastic processing and material recovery. As part of the evaluation, production offcuts and residual material from ONE-DNA\u2122 products were processed using equipment available at Recycling Solutions Australia&#8217;s facility in Brisbane.<\/p>\n<p>The material underwent shredding, grinding and reprocessing trials commonly used within polyethylene processing operations.
